Worth checking if the warranty covers it, I've had luck with that before.

My last laptop had a dead pixel out of the box and the warranty replaced it in a week. They even covered shipping both ways which was a nice surprise. Just make sure you read the fine print on what they consider "normal wear" versus a defect.
