Skimming my first site notebook from years ago, it's funny what I valued then.

I used to hunt for flashy objects to show off. Now a simple tool mark or seed sample feels way more telling, you know?

My first dig I packed three different brushes for a single arrowhead. Now I realize half the shiny things I kept were just weird rocks, and the actual broken pot bits told the whole story. Yikes, man.
