Just learned that 'ask anything' forums actually have a 73% higher reply rate than niche topic boards
I was reading a research summary from a university in Oregon last week about online community engagement. They tracked over 10,000 posts across different platforms for a year. The data showed that broad 'ask anything' style communities get direct answers to questions way faster and more often. I always figured specialized forums would be better for getting help. Makes you wonder if we overthink where to post our questions, right? Has anyone else noticed they get quicker answers here compared to more focused groups?

Yeah I always thought the niche spots were better too, but that data is pretty convincing.

Nah, data can be misleading though. I've seen the opposite work way better in practice lol.
