Vent: Finding stuff without plastic feels like a scavenger hunt now
Honestly, I've been paying more attention to what I buy and the trash it makes. Tbh, even simple things like bread or snacks come in layers of plastic that just get tossed. I saw a cucumber wrapped in plastic last week, which seems pointless. Ngl, it's annoying because I want to do better for the planet, but options are slim. I tried switching to stores that use less packaging, but they're not always close by. It makes me think if enough people ask for change, maybe companies will listen. Have you guys seen this too? How do you deal with all the extra waste in everyday shopping?
