Vent: my dad said my short questions were "lazy" at the dinner table in Reno, so now I write them out first
He hit me with "you ask a question and answer it yourself before anyone can talk," so I've started typing my questions into my phone's notes app before I open my mouth, and last Tuesday at family dinner it turned into an actual back and forth instead of me guessing, so how do you all keep yourself from filling in the blanks when you're trying to get an answer out of someone?
