Can we talk about photographing the Perseids this year?
Used to be all about timing and luck. Now, with apps, I knew exactly when to look.

Yeah, the whole "less about waiting" thing is real. But idk, maybe it's just me but the apps kinda made it feel like another calendar event. Like, I used to stay up with friends just talking, hoping to see one. Now it's "okay, look up at 2:17 AM." It got the shot, but it lost the vibe of just being out there, you know?

Remember trying to guess the best time and just hoping you didn't blink... it was so frustrating. I feel you on the old way being pure luck. These new apps really are a game changer for actually planning a shot. Makes the whole experience less about waiting and more about doing, which is nice.
