Had to choose between a telescope upgrade and a new camera body
the stacked shots of Andromeda came out way cleaner than anything I got with the old body. But now my cheap mount can barely handle the extra weight and I spent half the night fighting star trails. Pretty sure I picked wrong but at least the single frames look great. Anyone else make a similar call and regret it later?

Woke up today excited to fix a leaky faucet, ended up flooding the kitchen and knocking out power to half the house. My landlord is gonna LOVE explaining this to the insurance. Guess my handyman career peaked at changing a lightbulb. At least the microwave clock is flashing now so I know it's officially Tuesday.
