Last Tuesday night was the clearest I've seen the sky in over a year, managed to get a shot of the Andromeda Galaxy with just my DSLR and a tripod.

Wow, I always thought you needed a telescope for that.

You'd be surprised what you can see with just your eyes on a really clear night.
