I just hit 500 days of tracking my daily sensory load on a simple app.
I started doing it after a really bad shutdown in a grocery store last year. The app just shows a 1 to 10 number for how overwhelmed I feel each evening. Seeing that 500 day streak made me realize how many 'okay' days I actually have, which I used to forget. It helps me plan better for the tough ones now. Does anyone else use a number or a chart to make sense of things?

That's a lot of days to track something. Seems like a lot of work just for a number.

Yeah, and it's funny how those numbers can sneak up on you. I tracked my morning coffee for a month once, @fiona_sullivan29, just out of curiosity (and maybe a little worry). Ended up with a spreadsheet and everything, which felt totally silly. The number itself wasn't even that shocking, but the act of writing it down every day made me really notice the habit, you know?
