Why does nobody talk about meltdown triggers changing as you get older

At 35 I had a full meltdown in a Target parking lot over a broken cart. Five years ago the same thing would have been a mild annoyance. I used to handle crowds fine but last month at the grocery store I had to leave mid shop. After that I started tracking what sets me off now vs then. Loud music in stores used to be fine but now it makes me shut down. Has anyone else noticed their sensory triggers totally shifting in their 30s?

Loud music in stores used to be fine" - that part got me thinking. Maybe it's not just our brains changing but our bodies too. I'm 38 and started noticing my eyesight going downhill around 33. Turns out I was squinting at things way more than I realized, and that constant tiny strain made me more on edge. When you're already half annoyed from struggling to read a shelf label from 3 feet away, a broken cart feels like the universe personally attacking you. Bet a lot of us have random physical stuff like that building up in the background and we don't even notice until we lose it over a shopping cart.

Every little annoyance adds up and suddenly you're angry at a shopping cart instead of your sore back.
