Appreciation post: That one customer who actually said thank you
Honestly I had this guy come in last Tuesday with a dented quarter panel on his old F-150. He was super patient while I quoted him $450 for the repair and didn't even haggle. When I finished the job he handed me a $20 tip and said 'I know you don't get credit for this kind of work.' That small thing made my whole week. Anyone else have a customer that just got it?

Had a lady last spring who brought in her Civic for a timing belt job. She asked a ton of questions but was just genuinely curious, not trying to be difficult. She brought donuts the next day for the whole shop and left a glowing review online. Made me realize how far a little kindness goes in a job where people mostly vent their frustrations.
