My kid asked why we don't just replace the whole panel on his Civic
He saw me spending hours on a quarter panel repair and said, 'Dad, wouldn't it be faster to put a new one on?' I had to explain about OEM fit, paint matching, and the cost, but it made me realize I never question the repair-first approach anymore. When did you last reconsider a standard shop practice?

Totally agree. My nephew asked why we have two eyes but see one thing last week. I had to look it up. Ended up learning about depth perception and how our brains combine images. It was a whole thing. Kids make you stop and actually think about stuff you take for granted.
