TIL a trick for stubborn door dings on aluminum panels

Had a 2021 F-150 with a deep ding right on the body line, customer wanted it perfect. Tried the glue puller three times, kept popping off. Ended up using a heat gun on low for about 30 seconds on the area, then did the pull. Came out smooth as glass on the first try after that. Anyone else find heat helps with these newer aluminum panels?

Ever notice how heat just makes stubborn things give up?

What kind of stubborn things are you talking about? Like old paint on a hinge, or something bigger like a person's bad attitude on a hot day?

Used to think heat was just for plastic panels, but this totally changed my mind.
