Warning: That 'simple' quarter panel blend on a 2021 Silverado
Tbh, the tri-coat pearl white took 5 hours to match perfectly because the factory tint was way off. Anyone else hit a crazy color match wall recently?

My spray-out cards looked like a toddler's finger painting next to the actual panel.

Yeah, I always thought spray-outs were gospel until I saw what @claire64 was talking about. Sunlight doesn't lie.

Tri-coats are the worst. Spent a whole day on a Honda pearl last week. The spray-out cards looked good until they were on the car in sunlight. Had to do a full tint session, just like you. Factory batches seem all over the place lately. Makes a simple job a real headache.
