Am I the only one who thinks hand tools beat power tools for certain jobs

I was swapping out a thermostat housing on a 2002 Civic last weekend and my ratchet couldn't fit, so I grabbed my old school combination wrench and had it done in 5 minutes. Power tools are great for speed but sometimes they just don't fit or you strip something. Do you guys reach for hand tools first on tight spots or just fight with the impact gun anyway?

Right? Nothing beats a good old fashioned wrench when you're crammed in there like a sardine... impact gun would've just made it worse and probably cracked the housing.
