TIL that torquing lug nuts to spec with a torque wrench instead of just hammering them with an impact actually saves me comeback time

I always figured my impact was fast enough and close enough at 100 ft-lbs, but after two wheels came back loose in a month I switched to a torque wrench and haven't had a single comeback since. Anyone else notice their comeback rate drop after ditching the impact for final torque, or am I just lucky?
