Man I hate when gear does that. Bought a "tested working" scope and it smoked day one.

Saw a guy on a forum once who bought a "tested working" oscilloscope off ebay and when he opened it up it was full of dead roaches. Like the seller just blew the dust out and called it good. Not saying that's what happened with yours but it makes you wonder what "tested working" really means sometimes. I always ask for a video of it actually running before I click buy.
