Warning: My hunt for a loose pin reminded me how much has changed
I got thinking about how we used to fix things with just a multimeter and a sharp eye. Now, it feels like every problem needs a computer hookup and a software update to even start. Last month, I was tracing a weird power drain on a older model. The new scan tool said everything was fine, but the battery kept dying. I dug out my old notes and just started checking each circuit by hand. Found a corroded ground strap that the system never flagged. It made me miss when you could trust the basics without a screen telling you what to see. Does anyone else get that gut feeling that we're forgetting the simple checks?

Ever think we rely too much on fancy tools now?

Trust your gut feeling more than the computer's green light.
