Finally hiked the full Enchantments thru hike after bailing twice at Aasgard Pass
Two summers back I got turned around at Colchuck Lake because I started too late and ran out of daylight, and last year I made it 300 feet up Aasgard before my legs quit. Last weekend I started at 5:30am from the Snow Lakes trailhead and finished the 18 miles in just under 14 hours, and the difference was packing 10 pounds lighter and actually eating every hour instead of waiting until I was starving. What is the one small change that got you through a route that beat you the first time?
