Spent 45 minutes untangling my bear bag line because I tied it wrong at Yosemite

Turns out the whole reason my line kept slipping was that I was using a clove hitch instead of a proper tautline knot, and I only figured it out after a ranger walked by and laughed, has anyone else wasted a ridiculous amount of time on something this simple out there?
