My starter smelled like nail polish remover on day 4, so I dumped half and fed it at 6am
Turned out my kitchen in Tampa runs at 81 degrees in July and I was letting it sit way too long between feeds. Anyone else have to feed twice a day just to keep it from going sour?

Does your kitchen hit like 80+ in the summer too? Mine does here in Florida and I had the exact same thing happen around day 4, that acetone smell is no joke. I ended up feeding twice a day until I moved it to a cooler spot, way less sour after that.
