The day my sourdough starter finally did its job
After 11 failed loaves over 3 months, I woke up at 5am, fed my starter, and by noon had the fluffiest, most perfect crust I've ever pulled from the oven. The loaf was gone by dinner, my neighbor asked for the recipe, and I almost cried. Has anyone else had a single loaf just click after endless flat bricks?
