My card got declined for a $4 coffee and I panicked
Happened Tuesday morning at a Starbucks in Portland. I had plenty of money in checking, but my bank flagged the charge as fraud because I paid for gas in a different state the day before. I called them from the counter and they lifted the block in 8 minutes, but now I always carry cash as a backup. Has anyone else had their bank freeze them over something tiny like this?

Wait, your bank actually picked up in 8 minutes? Mine keeps me on hold for an HOUR over that stuff.
