TIL my 'secure' habit of using the same password for all my bills was a huge risk after my gym's payment portal got hacked last Tuesday.
The breach notification email listed my compromised login details, which were identical to the ones I used for my electric and water payments, so has anyone else had a close call that finally made them use a password manager?

My old system was a notebook with about fifteen variations on my dog's name and a birthday. A bank text alert for a weird login from another state was my wake up call. I spent a whole Sunday moving everything into a manager and it was deeply boring, but now I sleep better.
