I finally switched from yelling into the void on Twitter to emailing my city council rep, and the difference was night and day
Got my account locked twice in 3 months for posts about a local zoning issue, so I started sending the same points straight to my council member's office. Six emails, and I got a written reply on the 5th one plus a spot on the agenda for the next meeting. Has anyone else had better luck going direct instead of fighting with a platform's report button?

Did your rep actually write the reply, or was it a staffer? That part matters more than people realize, because staff are the ones who put things on the agenda. Either way, six emails is a good run.
