Just realized I got banned from a food blog for praising instant rice
I wrote that instant rice saves time and tastes okay, and they deleted my comment. I'm still saying it because convenience matters in cooking.

Did the blog think you were insulting real rice's family? Guess they take their grains way too seriously.

Banning someone over instant rice praise is way over the top. Time is a real factor for a lot of people, and if it gets a meal on the table, that's what counts. Not everyone has hours to spend in the kitchen, and that doesn't make their cooking less valid. What's your go-to quick meal when you're in a rush?
