My cousin's story about getting kicked off a local gardening group made me see things new

We were at a family cookout last Sunday, and she told me she got banned from a Facebook group for her town's community garden. She posted a simple question about using coffee grounds to change soil pH for blueberries, and the main admin deleted it, saying it was 'misinformation' without any proof. She tried to message them with links from the agricultural extension office, but they just muted her. It hit me that this happens with small, everyday topics too, not just big news. She just started her own blog on Blogger to share her notes, which I think is smart. Has anyone else been shut down in a niche hobby group for just asking a question?

I used to think those small group admins were just trying to keep things tidy. My local model train forum had a guy who would delete any post about 3D printed parts, calling it junk. I figured he was just set in his ways. Seeing your cousin's story with the actual extension office links, it clicked that it's not about facts, it's about their little kingdom. Your cousin starting her own blog is the perfect answer to that.

Sometimes people just get things wrong, @allen.terry, and a blog can't fix that.
