Three years ago I got banned from a local gardening forum for saying native plants don't need fancy fertilizers
I joined this small gardening forum back in 2020 and posted that native wildflowers and grasses grow fine without Miracle-Gro. Within 2 hours a moderator deleted my post and banned me for 'promoting neglect'. I came back last week to check the same forum under a new username and saw a sticky thread titled 'Why Native Plants Thrive Without Extra Fertilizer'. Turns out the mods had a whole debate about it in 2022 after a university study backed me up. Funny how 'neglect' became 'sustainable practice' in just a couple years. Has anyone else seen a forum flip its stance on something you got banned for originally?

Love seeing the universe eventually agree with you like that.

Really, the universe agreeing? I'd say it's more like my stubbornness finally ran into the right facts at the right time. I'm not sure the universe cares much about my little opinions one way or the other, seems like a lot of pressure to put on the cosmos.
