Got my meme ratio'd by a mod for a pigeon joke in 4 hours flat
So I posted this pretty tame meme about pigeons running a shadow government, totally standard internet humor. Within 4 hours it got pulled for 'misinformation'. I've seen way worse stay up for days. This was on a big platform too, not some tiny forum. I appealed it, got a canned response about 'community standards'. It was literally a joke, no one thought pigeons are real. Made me think about how fast moderation can kill a harmless bit. Has anyone else had a totally absurd meme get nuked while actual hate speech floats around?
Man, FOUR hours? That has to be some kind of record for a pigeon joke getting nuked. I swear the bots just scan for certain words without even looking at the picture or the caption. It's wild how a harmless post about birds can trigger more action than actual garbage that breaks every rule.
