My cousin in Berlin told me his meme about a local political figure got his account suspended for 3 days.
He said the platform called it 'hate speech' but it was just a cartoon making fun of a bad policy, which makes me wonder who really gets to decide what crosses the line online.

Remember watching a local town hall meeting where two neighbors argued over a "no loud music" sign. One guy said loud music was any sound past 8 PM, the other said it was only if you could hear it from the street. It got me thinking about your question. They were basically fighting over who got to decide what "loud" meant, just like we do with "hate speech." It always seems to come down to who has the power in the room at that moment, right?
