My 'Distracted Boyfriend' meme got zapped from a city Facebook page in 2021

I posted that classic meme comparing our old park to the new fancy one they built. The admin said it 'promoted infidelity' and deleted it within an hour. It was just a joke about civic spending, but they treated it like a real relationship guide. That whole thing made me wonder who gets to decide what a joke means online. Has anyone else had a totally harmless meme get banned for a weird reason?

Totally agree with @jackson.jenny, it's like some mods are looking for a reason to be upset. They decide the meaning for everyone and just shut down the joke.

That's honestly so frustrating. Mods sometimes miss the joke completely and go straight to the worst possible reading. Your point about civic spending was obvious to anyone with half a brain.
