Spent 3 hours trying to find a meme that got banned from Twitter last year

I was looking for that edited Pepe with the CIA hat that got pulled down in 2023. Took me forever to find it archived on some random forum in Russia, of all places. Anyone else have a trick for digging up deleted memes that doesn't take half a day?

Heard some people use the Wayback Machine's text search for deleted stuff.

Yeah, the text search for deleted stuff is hit or miss but it worked for me. I was trying to find an old blog post that got taken down, and after some digging through the search results, I actually pulled up the archived version. Just had to experiment with different keywords and date ranges to narrow it down.
