PSA: paid $240 for a campus 'free speech' workshop that got canceled mid-session

Last month I signed up for a 2-day workshop at State College about hosting tough conversations on campus. The flyer promised real practice and a certificate, so I dropped $240 out of pocket. Day one started fine, but when a student brought up the Palestine flag rule, the facilitator shut it down and moved on. Then the school admin walked in and canceled the whole thing after an hour, no refunds. Has anyone else paid for a campus event that got shut down before it even finished?
