Just realized I've been holding my trimmers wrong for five years. A client in Toledo pointed it out yesterday.

My Milwaukee rep showed me that last year.

Replying to "the right way to hold them" - man, I've watched so many barbers argue about this online it's ridiculous. @emma768 your rep probably showed you that thing about thumb placement, and honestly every single barber I've met has a different opinion on it. I tried keeping my thumb on the side like that video said, and it felt so awkward I kept dropping my clippers. Half the dudes I follow on YouTube say one thing, the other half say the exact opposite, and both claim the other way will mess up your wrist. At this point I just hold them however feels natural and hope for the best. If Milwaukee wanted us to hold them a specific way, they'd put a diagram on the box instead of keeping it a secret.

Wait, what's the right way to hold them? I saw a video once where this barber said you're supposed to keep your thumb on the side, not the back, for better control.
