My old cordless clippers gave out halfway through a fade last month. In my experience, that silent judgment from the client is worse than any technical issue. Had to finish the job with shears and a lot of apologies.

That silent judgment is brutal, I once had to finish a cut with kitchen scissors.

Honestly, the worst part is trying to keep a straight face while your tools betray you. @patkim, kitchen scissors? That's next level makeshift barbering. I can just picture the client's raised eyebrow as you snip away with what they use to cut parsley. That silent judgment isn't just brutal, it's a whole mood of disappointment. And you're stuck there hoping they don't post a review calling you 'resourceful' in the worst way. It's like your equipment picks the worst moment to quit, just to test your ability to fake confidence.
