Unpopular opinion: clipper guards lie, and a guy getting a buzz in Reno made me check mine
A guy sat in my chair last week and asked for a 2 all over, and when I ran my guard over his side he said his last barber's 2 came out way shorter. I grabbed my calipers and my "2" was cutting at 8mm instead of 6mm, and it turns out the plastic guard had worn down on one corner from years of banging the drawer. Do you all measure your guards or just trust what's printed on the side?
