Found out my ban from a Facebook gardening group was actually permanent after 6 months of waiting

I stumbled on the group's appeal page last week and saw they require a notarized form to even be considered for reinstatement, has anyone else dealt with that kind of hoop jumping?

Are they actually asking for a real notary or just a witness to sign it?

Jump on this, @burns.ruby - it sounds like a real notary, which is CRAZY overkill for a gardening group. This is just another sign of groups putting up ridiculous barriers to keep people out, like they think they're running some exclusive club instead of a plant page.
