Got banned from a local gardening group for posting a photo of my marigolds
Honestly, I just wanted to share a picture of the marigolds I grew from seed this spring. They were bright orange and covered about 3 feet of my front bed. The admin said I was 'promoting invasive species' because marigolds aren't native to our area in Ohio. Has anyone else dealt with a group that bans flowers just because they're not local?

...and that's why I'll never join a gardening group run by someone who thinks dandelions are a design statement.
