Got banned from a plant swap group over a pothos cutting, and I finally see why
I got kicked out of the Ohio Houseplant Swap group on Facebook 3 weeks ago for posting a pothos cutting with a note that said "free to good home." I thought the mods were being ridiculous until I read the group rules again and saw they only allow trades, no giveaways, because too many people used giveaways to sell stuff on the side. It took me almost 2 hours of digging through old posts to find the exact rule and the mod who enforced it, and honestly I was wrong to call them power hungry. Anyone else get the boot from a hobby group for a rule you didn't even know existed?
