Hit 500 consecutive days on a language app and got a surprise ban

Reached a 500 day Duolingo streak last week and woke up to a ban for 'suspicious activity' - turns out their algorithm flagged me for practicing too many lessons in one day. Has anyone else gotten dinged just for being consistent?

500 lessons in one day? That's genuinely wild to me. I hit 150 once on a weekend and felt like my brain was melting. Getting banned for "suspicious activity" when you're just grinding sounds like a nightmare.

My buddy @allen.cole got flagged for 250 lessons once and had to email support like 4 times before they fixed it. Honestly, if you haven't already, screenshot your streak history and send it to them directly with a note explaining you were just studying hard. Their support team can restore your account if you push a little, just be polite and keep your messages short. Ngl, I keep a notebook of what days I go hard just in case their system gets jumpy again.
