I finally found out why my old Myspace account got deleted back in 2009
I was digging through old emails last week and found a notice saying my account was removed for posting "malicious links" which turned out to be a quiz I made about celebrity crushes that auto-shared to everyone's profiles. Turns out the site had a zero tolerance policy on auto-sharing scripts back then, even if you didn't know you were breaking the rule. Has anyone else gotten hit with a ban for something that seemed totally harmless at the time?

Was the quiz actually sharing to profiles or just appearing to?
