Twitter suspended me for calling a politician a 'liar' with no warning
I posted a screenshot of a local city councilman's broken promise about fixing potholes in my neighborhood, and I called him a liar. Twitter hit me with a permanent suspension within 2 hours, no appeal possible. The councilman had 400 followers and mine was a verified account with 3,000. Has anyone else lost their account for way less than the people who actually cause problems?

Oh yeah, that sounds about right for Twitter. They'll let some verified account with millions of followers openly harass people for weeks, but God forbid you call a small-time politician a liar about potholes. The algorithm probably flagged it as "abusive behavior" because the councilman's feelings are more valuable than your neighborhood's suspension bridges. I swear their moderation system runs on a dartboard and a coin flip. You basically got sacrificed to appease the gods of "community standards" while actual bots and trolls dance around like nothing happened. Hope the potholes were worth losing that blue check, buddy.

Bet they use AI that can't tell sarcasm from threats.

Not even exaggerating with the dartboard thing, I honestly think they have some kind of random number generator deciding what stays and what goes. You see obvious hate speech up for days but a joke about a puddle gets you banned in five minutes. Their whole system is just a mess that punishes normal people while the real garbage slides right through lol.
