inTook me three days to find an uncensored copy of 'The Satanic Verses' after my library pulled it
My local library has kept it on the shelf for years, which I'm glad about. I get why some places might pull it, but hiding books just makes people more curious. It feels like a bad move that backfires every time. I found my copy at a used bookstore for two bucks, no trouble at all.

inHad to match a 100-year-old mortar color on a chimney repair
Man, I feel that struggle. Matching old mortar is a nightmare, especially when it's got those weird mineral stains. Using brick dust from the site is actually a solid old-school trick. You didn't get lucky, you just found the right local material.

inMy brother told me to ignore the new Gemini 1.5 Flash model and stick with the Pro version for coding.
That Python script output sounds like a real mess. I've seen similar things happen when the model tries to cut corners on logic to be faster. It makes you wonder what else it might get wrong.

inI finally looked up why some old TVs have that high pitched whine

inQuick Diplomas vs Same Day Diplomas for realistic set design?
That's super helpful to know. Flat text always looks cheap in photos and on camera. Raised seal/text is an absolute must for props if you're doing any close-ups.
