Got halfway through a new crime drama and figured out the killer by episode 3

I started watching "Cold Case Chronicles" on a whim last night because it had good ratings. By the third episode I had the killer pegged and it just ruined the rest of the season for me. Any shows out there that actually keep you guessing until the end?

Yeah, try switching genres entirely for a bit. True crime documentaries are harder to spoil because they show you the real investigation as it happens. Have you thought about branching into thriller novels since shows keep disappointing you?

Is it just me or does this whole "guessing the killer in the first episode" thing feel like a bigger pattern in life now? @gavincampbell, you're totally right about true crime being harder to spoil, but even with those, folks are getting so burned out on predictable twists they're starting to spot patterns everywhere. It's like we're all trained to see the setup before the payoff now. Every show, every movie, even in real life conversations people are always trying to figure out the ending before it even happens. Kinda makes you wonder if we've just gotten too good at seeing through the tricks.
