Honestly, the real problem is the cliffhanger addiction. Shows are just built different now, all for that binge rush @haydenc10 mentioned. It makes every episode feel like a long trailer for the next one instead of its own thing.

Have you ever thought binge-watching keeps you more hooked? I find it easier to follow complex plots when I watch episodes back-to-back. Waiting a week between episodes makes me forget details. Plus, some shows are made to be watched all at once. It just pulls you in better.
