That time a bot flagged my old hiking gear reviews as spam

I used to post long gear breakdowns on a hiking forum, like 800 words on a tent pole stiffness, and got zero complaints for years. Then last month their new bot swept through and nuked 40 of my old threads, saying they were 'promotional content' even though I never sold anything. I appealed and a mod told me the bot saw too many links to the same outdoor store in my posts, so now I only link to the actual product page once and keep my reviews to 300 words. Has anyone else had to dumb down their writing just to get past some automated filter?
