Ugh, I know exactly what you mean. It feels like this happens with everything in my apartment, not just games. You start organizing one shelf and suddenly you're buried in a whole pile of stuff you forgot you even owned. It's like our things multiply in the dark when we aren't looking. I've had the same shock with my kitchen gadgets and old craft supplies. Makes you wonder what else is quietly taking over your space, right?

Disagree completely, my place stays pretty clean. I actually enjoy finding old stuff, it's like a little surprise from past me. Those kitchen gadgets you forgot? Maybe you just need to try using them again instead of blaming the clutter.
