Am I the only one who dropped $400 on a new digital angle finder?

It saved my bacon on a tricky saddle cut for a 24-inch pipe, but the battery died on the second day. What's a more reliable brand you guys trust?

Four hundred dollars for a tool with a battery that dies in two days is crazy. That's the kind of thing that makes you go back to a simple magnetic level. I've had good luck with the Bosch models for holding a charge.

Saw a forum post about that exact battery issue.

Absolutely, that price tag is a joke for a battery that can't last a weekend. My old DeWalt laser just gave up the ghost after a year, wouldn't hold a charge past a few hours. Felt like such a waste of money, I almost threw it across the room.
