Best shift I had in weeks at the Hammond plant

We were working on that big boiler retube at the Hammond plant last Thursday. Everything was going wrong all morning, welds blowing out and the crane operator was running late. Then around 2pm something clicked, we got into a rhythm and pulled off the last 12 tubes in under 3 hours without a single redo. The foreman even bought everyone a round at the bar after. Has anyone else had a shift turn around like that out of nowhere?

Ngl, that rhythm hitting out of nowhere is the best feeling, makes the whole day worth it.

What's the longest you've ever had a random groove keep you going, @matthewh28? I was walking home from the store the other day and a beat just hit me in the head, ended up jamming all the way back and forgot what I was buying. It's like the universe drops a free serotonin bomb right when you need it.
