Blew a tube sheet on the boiler rebuild in Gary and it cost us 3 days
Had a tube sheet crack on the number 2 boiler during a rebuild in Gary last month and it set the whole crew back 3 days waiting on a weld repair. We had to cut out 14 tubes and re-roll them, and I spent most of that time arguing with the inspector about the procedure. How do you all handle it when a crack shows up mid-job and the schedule is already tight?
